Kool-aid Jammer
I made some of these for my sons and their friends to carry their gameboy advances in. There is enough space for games, gameboy, and plugs. Here is my

Record bowl
I also made hubby's aunt one of the infamous record bowls. She enjoys candy dishes, and unusual stuff. So this one was perfect for her.
To make this one, you just heat the oven to about 275. Put the record on a pyrex bowl and let it melt over. I took mine out and sort of shaped it around the bowl with pot holders. It didn't take long in the oven, so don't leave it.
Bug Lamp
Here is a little lamp I made for my hubby's aunt's birthday. Her birthday is the day before mine. I love this little guy...

Searching for PATTERN
I am looking for a pattern for this crocheted doll. My grandmother made this for me 20 years ago. She has passed since then. If anyone has an idea where a pattern for one is, please let me know.
Dolly's Splash Country
I don't know how many of you have ever been to Dolly's Splash Country. Man is it busy. The family went today for a day of wet fun. It felt like the whole world and their neighbor was there. We got there early. We left there late. Short story, we are all red. My oldest son said "I'm a true redneck." He's funny.
Well, you guys should visit. If you go, go late. AND WEAR SUNSCREEN.

craftster.org site. It is totally free to join. You can be in all kinds of craft swaps and get stuff from all over the world. Here is a few of the things I made for my recent swaps. No peeking people.
This last one is stuff I got from a girl in canada. She knit all of this stuff over one weekend all for little ole me. The wristband says "patsy's my homegirl". I just love patsy cline.
BlackBerry Picking
The kids and I went walking to pick blackberries. We got a bucket full. Needless to say, they are all gone now. They ate them all last night after dinner. My little girl said they should be called "purple berries". I am guessing you know why. Bout another week they will all be ready to pick. We've got to get to them before all the deer get there.
New yarn
I just got back from town. Of course, I had to stop at the local wal-mart. Hubby bought me twelve skeins of yarn. They are all so cute. I am learning to crochet, so these are for a basic blanket for the couch. I can't wait to finish.
I have purchased so many knitting needles to learn how to knit. I tell you what, it is harder than it looks. I thought I had it once, boy was I fooled. Apparently I just kept on doing to same thing. Turned out ugly.
I can't wait for the weather to cool off just a bit. It is sooo hot outside. I am getting tired of being in the house to cool off. You would think with all of the trees around my house there would be a cool shady spot. My land is so hilly. You can't sit still outside. We are in the process of building our house. We live in the old part. Thank god hubby fixed it earlier. You should have seen it when we walked in. You could fall through the floor. I swear. Now the inside is all new. The outside is a whole nother story. People come over and they don't want to come inside. Just as soon as they walk in they are amazed. They always comment on how different the inside is from the outside. I just say "it's a work in progress."
